Turning Pointe School of Dance

The intensive will include five rigorous days of classes in ballet technique, pointe, contemporary, modern, conditioning, variations, choreography, creative worship and Bible study taught by the artists of Ballet 5:8.

Host families are available for out-of-town students.

Students' family and friends are invited to attend the Student Showcase to be presented on Saturday, August 4th, 2012.

Summer Workshop

July 23rd - 27th, 2012

Designed for beginning and intermediate students ages eight years and up, Summer Workshop is a fun-filled week of ballet, pre-pointe/pointe, conditioning, modern, Bible study, creative worship, and choreography.

Instructors wi ll include Turning Pointe staff and guest artists from Ballet 5:8, a Christian professional ballet company based in Chicago.

Participating students wi l l attend class from 9:00am – 2:15pm each day, with a break for a bag lunch. A Student Showcase wi l l be presented for parents, fami ly and friends at 1:15pm on Friday, July 27 , at the Turning Pointe studios.

Classes

Summer Classes

Classes will be ongoing throughout the summer for all Turning Pointe Training Divisin levels. Students in each level must meet a certain summer class attendance requirement in order to maintain their level placement for the fall.

Classes are divided into three sessions, so each dancer will need to register for the classes in one, two or all three of the sessions (June, July and August).

Summer Camps

Do you have a budding dancer looking for summer fun?

Dancers ages three through ten years are invited to attend one or more of our summer camps! This includes students normally attending Preschool Ballet, Kinderballet, and 1st & 2nd Grade Ballet, as well as any new students who may or may not have prior dance experience.

Registration

Registration for summer programs will take place starting on March 31st, 2012!

Registrations should be submitted at the front desk along with payment of any registration fees no later than May 1st. A late registration fee of $15 will apply to any registrations submitted after May 1st, 2012.

Each student should submit one registration form.

Students only pay the registration fee once for all summer semester classes. This fee applies to Intensive and Workshop as well as classes and camps.

All tuition payments are due in full by June 1st, 2012.
