Upper level Turning Pointe students may audition for placement in one of our two Ensemble Companies. Dancers in the Ensemble Companies rehearse and perform together in a setting similar to that of a professional company. Ensemble members perform added pieces in Turning Pointe's two major productions each year, and they also perform in outreach settings such as churches, schools, nursing homes and community events. All together, these experiences prepare students for careers in dance and provides special opportunities for them to use dance for worship and to serve and encourage others.
Turning Pointe's Senior Ensemble Company members and Apprentices are students who are currently in Levels IV and V of the Training Divison. The Senior Ensemble Company is the main outreach arm of Turning Pointe and also fulfills major roles in Turning Pointe's two annual productions.

Turning Pointe's Junior Ensemble Company members and Apprentices are students who are currently in Levels III and IV of the Training Divison. Junior Ensemble is an opportunity for students to go above and beyond striving for proficiency in ballet technique, teaching them how to perform and to serve others with their gifts and talents. Members perform added pieces in both of Turning Pointe's annual productions and may participate in outreach performances in churches, nursing homes, schools and community events.

Ensemble Audtions
Auditions for the Ensemble Performance Companies for the 2012-2013 will take place on Saturday, May 19th, from 11:00am - 12:30pm.
To Audition You Must:
Currently be in Turning Pointe Training Division Level IV or Level V, or have the specific permission of the School Principal, Julianna Slager, to audition. New students are welcome!
On the Day of the Audition, You Must: Bring a Parent
There is a mandatory Parent Meeting for ALL prospective Ensemble and Junior Ensemble parents. The meeting will be held at the studio during the audition, from 11:30am - 12:30pm. One parent or guardian must be present in order for a student to audition.
